Living with cancer can look and feel very different for each patient. That’s why Chesapeake Urology’s Cancer Center offers integrated and individualized care and treatment in one convenient location.
Medical oncologist Michael Adashek, DO, manages your care and treatment, working closely with the Center’s multidisciplinary team of specialists, including:

  • Advanced practice providers (physician assistant and nurse practitioner) who work closely with Dr. Adashek in implementing your treatment plan
  • A nurse navigator who collaborates with your care team to help plan your
  • consultations, tests, and procedures
  • A new patient coordinator who will serve as the point of contact for medical and insurance forms, registration, and more
  • An infusion nurse who will ensure your safety and comfort during infusions (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal, and targeted therapy) at Chesapeake Urology’s dedicated Infusion Therapy Center.
  • Front desk staff, a medical assistant, a lab assistant, and support staff provide patients with additional information, comfort, and care.
