About This Provider
Since 2008, Dr. Damian Sorce has been a leading urologist in Denver, with a specialized focus on prostate cancer care. As the founder and director of the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic at Colorado Urology, he provides cutting-edge treatments for patients with high-risk localized and metastatic prostate cancer, including innovative therapies such as Provenge, Xofigo, Keytruda, and Pluvicto.
Dr. Sorce is also the founder of the Focal Prostate Cancer Center, where he pioneers precision treatments for prostate cancer. He was the first in Colorado to perform High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and NanoKnife procedures, and he serves as a proctor, training other physicians in these advanced techniques. In collaboration with national brachytherapy leader Dr. Bhatnagar, Dr. Sorce offers low-dose prostate brachytherapy. By customizing treatments like HIFU, NanoKnife, and brachytherapy, he achieves superior functional and oncological outcomes tailored to each patient’s needs.
A skilled robotic and minimally invasive surgeon, Dr. Sorce treats a range of urologic cancers with a focus on optimizing patient outcomes. His commitment to patient advocacy, accessibility, and personalized care has earned him numerous accolades, including the Patients’ Choice Physician Award (2009-2011, 2014, 2016, 2018), Compassionate Care Award (2010-2016, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2009, 2014-2018), and Top 10 Metro and State Doctor Awards (2014) from Vitals.com.
