Dr. David J. Osborn is a board-certified urologist who is fellowship-trained in Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Osborn joined Chesapeake Urology in July 2021, serving patients throughout Montgomery County. Dr. Osborn’s specialties include pelvic reconstructive surgery, pelvic organ prolapse, erectile dysfunction and rehabilitation, kidney stones, male reconstructive surgery, male and female incontinence, male sexual health and vasectomies.

A distinguished U.S. military medical professional, Dr. Osborn served as Deputy Chief and then Chief of the Urology Service at Walter Reed National Military Center in Bethesda, MD before joining Chesapeake Urology. Dr. Osborn has also served as an Associate Professor, Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, as well as an instructor in surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Osborn has published multiple articles and book chapters on topics ranging from pelvic organ prolapse repair, female stress urinary incontinence, and overactive bladder, to male lower urinary tract symptoms. He has also presented extensively at national conferences on urologic topics. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Government Service Urologists, and the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine, and Urogenital Reconstruction.
