Dr. Daoud Dajani is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgeries to treat malignant and benign conditions of the urinary tract. His surgical areas of focus include advanced techniques in prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer surgery.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Dajani was a urologist with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical group from 2016-2022, and he served as the chair of the Mid-Atlantic Robotic Surgeons covering Baltimore, Washington DC, Southern MD, and Northern VA. He currently serves as Medical Director of Genitourinary Oncology, University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

After graduating from medical school at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan, Dr. Dajani came to the United States and completed his master’s degree in Clinical Investigation Sciences at the University of Louisville. He completed an internship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland and a residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC before his fellowship training in advanced robotic surgery the University of Southern California (USC).

A member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Robotic Surgery, and the Endourological Society, Dr. Dajani has been published multiple times in such prestigious publications as Annals of Surgery, Current Opinion in Urology, and Urologic Oncology. Dr. Dajani has been repeatedly recognized as a top doctor by Virginia Living Magazine (2019), Washingtonian Magazine (2020, 2021, 2022), and Northern Virginia Magazine (2021, 2022).

Dr. Dajani’s primary goal is to help each patient understand their diagnosis and aid in the navigation of an appropriate treatment course from diagnosis to cure. He continually strives to treat each patient and family with individualized care.

As of early 2023, Dr Dajani was awarded the title of Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Dajani speaks fluent Arabic.
