She has specialized fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Endourology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her urology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she was recognized with the Junior Resident Award for Humanism in Medicine and contributed meaningfully to resident education and wellness initiatives, including co-leading a resiliency curriculum funded by the Norton Rose Fulbright Educational Grant.

Dr. Johny earned her Doctor of Medicine from the George Washington University School of Medicine, graduating with honors including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience & Physiology and Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Johny has authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at major national and international urology conferences, including the American Urological Association and the World Congress of Endourology. Her scholarly work spans topics such as robotic surgery, surgical education, health equity, resident wellness, and endourologic innovations.
