Dr. Mitzi Barmatz is board certified with the American Board of Urology. She received her medical degree from the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her Internship as well as Residency was completed at the University of Arizona, where she received the George W. Drach Award for Compassion in Urologic patient care. She graduated with honors throughout her education.
Dr. Barmatz has held several positions at Northwest Medical Center throughout her career including Section Head-Department of Urology and Chief of Staff. She also served on the Board of Trustees. She is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Women in Urology, Pima County Medical Society and is a Diplomat of American Board of Urology. She is married and has 2 teenage children who she enjoys spending as much time with as possible.
