About This Provider

Dr. Alexis Chesrow, MD, FPM-RS, completed her undergraduate degrees in biology and cross-cultural anthropology from the University of Chicago. She went on to receive her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. She completed her Internship and Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Chesrow then completed a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology), Neurourology, Male and Female Voiding Dysfunction at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

She is Board certified with the American Board of Urology in both Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Chesrow spent nearly ten years at her Milwaukee, Wisconsin Urology/Urogynecology practice, where she built a multidisciplinary program for the care of the female patient and developed a clinical research program in urogynecology.

She focuses her practice on the correction of complicated incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in the female patient. She also has expertise in neuro-urology and worked to develop a comprehensive bladder program for patients with spinal cord injuries/neurological disorders.

Dr. Chesrow is a member of the American Urological Association and has authored publications in her fields of study.
