In addition to caring for general urology patients, Dr. Maruf’s areas of specialty include stone disease, BPH/enlarged prostate, vasectomies, and prostate cancer. Dr. Maruf previously served as Chief, Department of Urology, Shady Grove Hospital, and Suburban Hospital where he was also the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Urology subsection. Dr. Maruf performs the minimally invasive UroLift procedure for the treatment of BPH in men and was recognized as a UroLift Center of Excellence in October 2020 for his experience with this procedure.
