Dr. Cleary sees adult men and women for general urologic conditions and focuses on urologic oncology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, kidney tumors, hematuria, kidney stone disease, BPH, incontinence, low testosterone, overactive bladder, and erectile dysfunction.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a B.S. in Chemistry, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree, Cum Laude, from Jefferson Medical College where he was elected to the Hobart Amory Hare and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Societies. He was selected as a National Institutes of Health (NIH) summer research scholar while in medical school. He then completed his general surgery and urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was elected by his peers to be Vice President of the house staff during his residency. In his final year at Thomas Jefferson, he was the urology chief resident.

Dr. Cleary completed a prestigious fellowship in Robotic Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and adrenal tumors.

Dr. Cleary has written many peer-reviewed articles, reviews, book chapters, and abstracts on various aspects of urology, and has received numerous awards – including the Dr. Wilber E. Postles Scholarship, Delaplaine Scholarship, Dominic Greco award for a top student attending medical school, NIH summer research fellowship grant, NIST summer research fellowship grant, highest score commendation from Molecular and Cellular Basis of Medicine course in medical school, election to two medical honor societies, Vice President of house staff, and selected as the grand prize poster during the Challenges in Endourology meeting in Paris, France.
